Thinking of a smoothie supercharge?
There are many options to supercharge your smoothie by adding your protein powder of choice, chia powder to curb appetite or flaxseed for Omega 3’s.
A few mango preparation tips
Fresh mangos can be difficult to prepare because they have a pit. Take the mango and cut it in half at an angle. This allows the pit to be removed easier. Once the pit is removed, take the two halves and use a small knife to cut little pieces into a checkerboard pattern without cutting through the skin. Then turn the mango inside out and flesh the mango fruit out of the skin. If you aren’t up for a little pre smoothie preparation or mangos aren’t in season, frozen mango works just as well.
