3HP Commercial Blender: Cleanblend
Customer Rating 4.8/5
A word to the wise, or those with short refrigerators, the BPA free jar that comes with this eye pleasing blender is a whopping 64 ounces. You can pull this blender out for those big parties, or even use it in a commercial setting. Every review literally glows about this blender, there is nothing Cleanblend cannot do, especially with a 3 HP motor and it is a third of the price of more big name brands. Oh, and if you are the clumsy type, feel free to drop the jar as much as you like, the company brags about it being nearly indestructible.
Customer Rating 4.8/5
No, this blender does not stand on the counter, this is a hand held immersion blender. These used to be all the rage, and why that trend stopped will never be fathomed. If you are anything like most of the world, you hate doing dishes (even if you can put it in the dishwasher) why dirty more dishes to make a fresh soup or puree? Use this handy (get it?) gadget to do all the mixing, and smoothing in one pot. Plus, this one featured here is cordless! A great option for those with cramped quarters.
Margaritaville DM0500 Bahamas
Customer Rating 4.7/5
This blender stands alone in its field. There is such a difference when making a drink, between crushed ice, and shaved ice. This delightful machine gives you effortless shaved ice and “idiot proof” recipes. No more party mishaps! What about the kids? Make them their favorite slushy using the same concept, only with their choice of soda. A friendly user tip is to use sodas or mixes with Cane Sugar, it won’t leave as much of an aftertaste.
Dash Chef Series Digital Blender
Customer Rating: 4.6/5
This blender is a really stellar value, you can normally catch it on sale for around $175. That being said, it would give the Vitamix a run for its money as the customers boast of its ability to give smooth smoothies. Nothing is worse than getting a piece of spinach lodged in a straw, then gagging when it comes rocketing out. This blender allows you to make “silky” soups and ice cream. Very user friendly.
Ninja Master Prep Pro
Customer Rating 4.5/5
The Ninja Master Prep Pro is great at powerfully breaking down whole fruits and veggies into a mouth pleasing smoothie, yet as all of the reviews have said, there tends to be pulp left and since the blades have to be removed to be cleaned, it can get dangerous fast. For the price, this is a pretty decent blender, good for juicing and quick smoothies for the family. All around good, basic blender. We have also found that for the price, this blender does well with green smoothies and hit the best blender for green smoothies list.
Magic Bullet NutriBullet Pro 900
Customer Rating: 4.4/5
The NutriBullet is a classic “As Seen on TV” type blender, the big question being, is it totally worth the money? There are quite a few recipes you can prepare in the two cups that are included. From juicing to soups, or even chopping up smelly onions, the Bullet divides and conquers the job. No need to break the bank, you can get this gem for under $130! One of the main complaints customers have is that you need to be sure you follow the warranty and buy from an authorized vendor, their warranty is not the greatest to say the least. Feel free to check out our full NutriBullet 900 Review.
Oster BVCB07-Z Counterforms
Customer Rating 4.2/5
A dandy little blender that is good at making your milkshakes and green smoothies. While needing a bit more water than would be needed in a higher powered machine, it is worth the money for its reversing blades. The blades will reserve several times in any given setting, allowing fruits and veggies to be pulled back down. That little feature is really unique, and makes for a smooth, yet textured drink. It is not powerful enough to break down the pulp so the bottom can get a little gummy, as stated in several reviews.
Customer Rating 4/5
Already the heads are turning at this rating. Yeah, it is surprising. What knocked the Ninja BL660 down is the awful warranty they offer. It is a hit and miss for this blender, it can be amazing and the only one you will ever need again, or you could be running to where you bought it to replace it every three months. For a detailed Ninja BL660 review, click here.
The smoothies are sadly textured, however, it depends on what ingredients you are using. If you add seeded fruits, expect seeds to still be there.
Amazon does offer an extended 2 year appliance warranty plans called Square Trade. Square Trade is available to add to your cart when purchasing your blender and the good news is if you purchase an appliance for a gift, it is transferrable. Square Trade will run around $31 for a product valued at $125-$150. If your blender doesn’t offer a reasonable warranty and you are concerned about the lifespan of your blender, Square Trade can help ease any worries with a guarantee of a broken appliance being repaired or replaced in five days or less with free 2 way shipping.
No matter if you are an aspiring chef, or you just want to have something cool to drink before a long day at the office, you deserve the best. Every blender on this list has proven to be great for the thousands of people who have bought and tested them.
Just because a review speaks badly about it, unless it’s something seen over and over, take it with a grain of salt. Sometimes people are just stuck on one brand and will write on that. Regardless, do your homework, and make a decision based on your needs.
We’re sure this review of these ten blenders has given you a good place to start.[/fusion_text]
