We all know that when our kids ask for something over and over, especially when it’s healthy, that the triple berry smoothie recipe must be really yummy. This is the case with this smoothie recipe at my house.
- 8-12 oz of water, almond milk or coconut water
- 1/4 cup of blueberries
- 1/4 cup of raspberries
- 1/2 cup of strawberries
- 1/2 cup of spinach
Blend with ice until smooth.
As with all smoothie recipes, you can always add yogurt or a banana for a creamier texture.
Play around with using fresh berries, frozen berries or a combination of both.
Raspberries can be tough for blenders to handle because of their small seeds. Check out our top blender picks for a list of several blenders that can make those seeds disappear!
Wanna supercharge it?
Add your favorite whey, veggie or rice protein or why not a little chia powder to help fight your hunger pangs. Flax seed is also a great addition for Omega -3 essential fatty oils, lignans (an antioxidant) and both soluable and insoluable fiber.
